MetroAction introduces our newest borrowers and gives you a chance to catch up with some of the clients we’ve helped in the past in this year’s annual report.  Titled Real People, Real Results, the report is available for viewing on our website.  It also highlights our expanded loan programs, awards, trainings and success.

For more than 30 years, MetroAction has stayed committed to our vision of community prosperity by lending more than $3 million to small start-up businesses, as well as to existing small businesses.

The past year has been an extremely successful one for us and the diverse businesses we have helped.  And though we have expanded our services and programs to include more opportunities than ever before, MetroAction is dedicated to furthering our mission of assisting small businesses so they may grow and prosper in our own region!

MetroAction is pleased to announce that it’s 2008/2009 Annual Report is now available!   Read about our borrowers, our impact and our programs. 

Small businesses have enough challenges without the added stress of a weak economy weighing on their shoulders.  Current economic times are only compounding their financial burdens.  Fortunately, MetroAction is available to support these small businesses.  Since 1997, we provided more than $2.8 million in financing to small businesses that were not able to obtain bank financing.  Our financing programs, combined with our entrepreneurial training programs, makes MetroAction the one-stop-shop for small businesses in NEPA.
