MetroAction Welcomes New Staff Member

MetroAction recently announced that Debbie Bertha has joined the staff as a business training and development specialist. Ms. Bertha will be responsible for promoting business development through MetroAction’s various lending, training and recognition programs and coordination of MetroAction’s comprehensive training schedule.

“I have long admired MetroAction’s work in moving the region’s economy forward, and I am proud to become a member of its staff,” stated Ms. Bertha. “I am looking forward to helping local business owners obtain the tools they need to succeed.”

Ms. Bertha is a graduate of the University of Scranton where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining the Chamber staff, she held the position of Outreach Coordinator for the Lupus Foundation of Pennsylvania.  She resides in Roaring Brook Township with her husband and two children.
