Grant Funding Available

Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection announced that grant funds are available for projects dealing with pollution prevention and energy efficiency . New applications for the Advantage Grant Program will be accepted from July 25 until close of business on September 26.

The Advantage Grant Program will consider providing 50 percent reimbursement grants up to $9,500 to support eligible projects for businesses per fiscal year. All Pennsylvania small businesses are eligible for Advantage Grant Funding. The applicant must be a for-profit business enterprise that is a corporation, limited liability company, partnership, sole proprietorship or other legal business entity that has no more than 100 full-time employees.

In order to prevent any possible delays, applicants are encouraged to complete these two actions as soon as possible:

  • Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Vendor Registration
  • Proved a completed checklist and W-9 with the completed application.
    AGREEMENT PROCESS – As part of the Advantage Grant agreement development process, the applicant is required to register wit the EPA Energy Star Portfolio Manager Program before a fully executed agreement will be provided to the applicant.
