New Kitchen Incubator in NEPA

I had a great meeting last week with Paul Browne from the Carbondale Technology Transfer Center (CTTC). He was telling us about his new, fully operational kitchen incubator.

In February 2009 the CTTC completed construction of a shared use kitchen facility to allow food processing and preparation companies to operate their businesses in keeping with all state and federal regulations. This facility is divided into kitchen and bakery areas. Equipment available for use includes a 6-burner Gas Range with Oven, Double Oven, 40 Quart Mixer, Freezers and Refrigerators. A full list of the equipment currently available as well as those purchases planned for the near term and additional information on the kitchen incubator is available at www.4cttc.org . The Kitchen Incubator @ CTTC currently has 3 tenants and 12 entrepreneurs in various stages of the application process.

This facility is a great resource for small businesses in NEPA. An open house has been scheduled for May 12, 3:30 – 6:30 PM. For more information, or to RSVP, contact Monica at (570) 282-1255.
