MetroAction Hires Small Business Training and Development Specialist

Dara Coslett Granza headshotMetroAction recently hired Dara Coslett Granza as its Business Training and Development Specialist.

As training and development specialist, Ms. Granza will be responsible for managing MetroAction’s comprehensive training schedule and coordinate its development and fund raising activities.“I’m proud to join the MetroAction staff,” stated Ms. Granza. “I had the opportunity to collaborate with the organization in the past and I’ve always admired their commitment to the success of small, locally owned businesses in northeastern Pennsylvania.”

Ms. Granza is a graduate of Temple University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising.  Prior to joining the Chamber staff, Ms. Granza held the position of Associate Director of Special Programs at Junior Achievement of NEPA.

Ms. Granza currently serves as public relations chair and placement vice chair for the Junior League of Scranton as well acting as an Advisory board member to the Scranton Civic Ballet Company. In 2009, she was named a Northeast Woman by the Scranton Times-Tribune. She currently resides in Olyphant with her husband.
