MetroAction is More than Just Financing

MetroAction does more than offer loans.  We know that the success of small businesses is an on going process of counseling, mentoring and training. That’s why we’re committed to offering the tools for entrepreneurs to find solutions to their business problems.
Mentoring and Outreach:
MetroAction encourages all our borrowers to participate in our Smart Start program.  It pairs entrepreneurs with a counselor to help them develop various aspects of their business including:

•    Starting a business: licenses, taxes, permits, resources
•    Business plan development and review
•    Marketing
•    Financial and cash flow analysis
•    Management
•    Business operations
•    And much more!
Our small business assistance and counseling services, including our new outreach offices, are free and available by appointment.

Education and Training:
And, as part of our commitment to provide quality and targeted training that meets the needs of prospective and existing small business owners, MetroAction employs a full training schedule.

It includes Business Basics, Financing Your Business, Marketing 101, Small Business Institute, Marketing Mastery, Business LINK, Disney Executive Series and Dale Carnegie, to name a few.  Programs are held throughout Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Schuylkill, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming counties.

Finally, last, but certainly not least, MetroAction is proud to be the first in the area to introduce on-demand business builder webinars.  They allow clients to learn on their own time, at their own pace, with just a simple requirement of the internet!
